One of the youngest members of the Mars Rover Team that successfully landed the “Curiosity” on the Red Planet in a historic mission is a Pinoy.
Gregory Galgana Villar III, 25, was born and raised in Long Beach and attended high school at St. Louis University Laboratory High School in Baguio City, where his parents are from.
Gregory has been working for NASA since he was a junior at Cal Polytechnic Pomona where he took up Physics. After he graduated, his internships turned into a full-time job. He is now an operational systems engineer at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
